Richard Roy served in the U.S. Army as a Medic through 1969. Since passing the bar in 1979, he has developed a reputation as a Civil Litigator primarily focusing on Personal Injury and Business Litigation.
Richard Roy has litigated cases throughout Southern California, working for and defending public school districts, private colleges and universities, other governmental entities and major insurance carriers.
Richard Roy is a Graduate of Loyola University School of Law in Los Angeles, Juris Doctorate in 1978 and he graduated Cum Laude from California State University at Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1973.
Richard Roy is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association, American Bar Association and San Diego Superior Court Arbitration Panel. Richard Roy is also a member of the Faculty Club at UCSD and the UCLA Athletic Club and he actively participates in the annual fund-raising events for Camp Hope and the Lemon Grove School District.
